BIO

I’m a poet and ceramic artist from Henderson, and I work out of a studio in St. Peter. I grew up in a close community setting, and that strong sense of rootedness has influenced everything I’ve written and made.

ARTIST STATEMENT

I’m interested in the small, everyday, and ordinary things that bring people together. I’ve been writing about the ways we do or do not find each other for many years now, and recently started working with ceramics in order to explore the interaction between clay and function and food.
