BIO

I'm a ceramic artist using fiber, drawing, and print making techniques to influence functional pottery for every day use. I have 25 years experience in ceramics, and have called St. Peter home for the last 20 years. I am especially motivated to support local artists in their own pursuits.

ARTIST STATEMENT

I have been influenced by ideas of body memory, impressions in our physical form, for the last 10 years. Resulting work lead me to explore illustrations of human anatomy in the setting of the comforts of home: beds, plants, and fabric prints and patterns. My current focus has been applying print methods to create multi-layered images on functional pottery.
