BIO

I began making jewelry in 1986 as a teenager in my hometown of Chapel Hill, NC. Since then, I have worked with and learned from many talented goldsmiths. In 2011 I began my solo business in my home studio in St Peter. You'll find my work on my website, in national shops and galleries, and via Artful Home and the American Craft Council Online platforms.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Balance. Metal, Tools, Hands. At 17 I picked up a pair of pliers, a hammer, and a piece of silver, and in my chaotic teenage mind, it all made sense. 35 years on, I still find calm in resting my eye on an unexpected yet balanced curve or pattern, in art or in nature. Precious elements, gathered from earth, formed into art.
