Stained Glass Studio | Bob Vogel
BIO
Stained Glass Studio features the art of Bob Vogel, who has created 40 years. He caters to private parties but his work can be seen at Bethany Lutheran College, churches in Minnesota and South Dakota, and even some businesses. Bob has traveled to all seven continents and 49 states, and his international photography is also on display at Stained Glass Studio.
ARTIST STATEMENT
I took my firtst stained glass course in Minneapolis 40 years ago, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I was bitten by the bug. I set up my first workshop in my basement and away I went, creating lamps and window ornaments. When my wife Victoria and I moved to Saint Peter, 25 years ago, we built a studio, in the garage and the commissions started to come in. Churches, collages, hospital chaples and residential. My glass work has been influenced by my world travels. From Africa, Europe to the frozen waters of Antartica, I like to add the richness of historical architecture and color to create, one of a kind pieces for my customers.
