BIO

My start in Ceramics started while attending Mankato State University. I have been student and instructor at the Art Center of St. Peter. I now work at my home studio and I also participate with Blue Valley Clay. I am fortunate to have all of these avenues available to me, because there is still so much to learn and experience.

ARTIST STATEMENT

While attending college for art education, I was introduced to pottery. I didn't realize, at that time, this would be a major part of my life. Intruction in this area taught me to take pride in creating one of a kind forms, along with my professors strong conviction toward an artistic driven career. My main focus today, is the same as when I first became a part of the clay community. Imagination a new original form, keep creativily fresh and take pride in your work.
