BIO

Charlie Putnam is a former K-12 and university level art teacher, who has been working on his own art, in his home, since his retirement in 2014. He has been exhibiting his work both locally and regionally, and most recently via social media, during his lifetime of making art.

ARTIST STATEMENT

My recent work has been divided between two very separate mediums. One is continuing my series of paintings and mixed medium works, which have been mostly geometric abstractions of traditional subject matter. Currently I've been creating a series of works that combine relief printing with ceramics.
