BIO

Lori is a pen and ink artist, working primarily with ultra-fine tip pens. She pursues themes of whimsy, nature, and intricate patterns. Initially aspiring to study art, she pursued a degree in psychology, only to return to art and volunteering after raising her son. She now works full-time as an artist.

ARTIST STATEMENT

For me, nothing is inanimate. Everything – trees, appliances, toys, etc. – can tell a story, brimming with personality to be expressed. I aim to capture this interplay of emotions, from the playfulness of creatures to the mesmerizing wonders of childhood. It's a joy to watch everyone from stay at home moms to biker dudes brighten when they see my art.
