BIO

I was raised in the rural parts of Minnesota, north of the cities, but south of up north.  
I am currently living in Mankato, where I am inspired by the architecture and landscapes. I am writing a book that includes these areas, and the unknown fantasy creatures that inhabit them. My first published work will be out in 2026; a board game called Caps & Stems.

ARTIST STATEMENT

I work mainly in watercolors and acrylic, but I have been expanding into creating sculptures. I like to explore the connections between emotions and places, often utilizing fantasy creatures, and bright colors. I also think art can just exist to make us smile and laugh, and like to create art for just those purposes, as well.
