I am a wildlife artist living in St. Peter, Minnesota. I was born in East Africa, and grew up photographing its wildlife and bird life. I spent most of my career working with computers and found a way to meld my artistic endeavors with modern technology. I now paint wildlife art on a digital canvas, and also create new images from my digital photography.
I took my first photos at the age of 8 using my mother’s Kodak 620 box camera. My dad taught me how to develop and print my photos in his darkroom. My focus now is on wildlife and bird photography. I use a computer to edit and manipulate my bird photos to create colorful kaleidoscopic images. This results in a unique and often surprising transformation.
