Amber Rahe is a painter living in Mankato Minnesota with her husband and two cats. She creates both oil paintings and ink paintings influenced by nature with a reference to human environmental impact.

ARTIST STATEMENT

There is all this amazing nature happening around you, and even in the most remote areas of the world, there is still the element of humanity present. You look down at that trail you are walking on in the park and see an empty bottle of water, a gum wrapper, or one shoe. My work emphasizes the importance of nature and the impact of humanity.
