This activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Robert (Shorty) Johnson lives and works in Saint Peter, MN where he owns his own business, Shorty’s TireOne, and takes photographs in his spare time, showing his work at his place of business and in local galleries.
For me, photography has always been an adventure, whether it be an animal in a field, a bird in the sky, or the bright colors of a flower. I enjoy the blend of creativity and mechanics of a camera, absorbing a small flash of light and displaying it’s energy in my studio.
