ARTIST STATEMENT

I paint to discover and imagine our relationship with the earth in an abstract form. The work births from encounters with landscapes and is anchored in the relationship between perception, memory, and cultural consciousness. Interweaving psychological space and the materiality of paint, I search for reciprocity between intimacy and immensity, self and other.
