Charlie Putnam
BIO
Charlie is retired from teaching K-12.Art in Le Sueur-Henderson public schools and adjunct instructor in the Art department of Minnesota State University Mankato. As a 10 year retiree, Charlie works at producing his own art at his home studio in St Peter.
ARTIST STATEMENT
Charlie has recently been producing relief prints on paper and using the same relief blocks to print on ceramic vessels and sculptures. He also continues to paint with acrylics on cradled wood panels. His subject matter is an ongoing and ever changing response to the physical and spiritual world.
