BIO

I am a self-taught fiber artist and weaver. I studied through practical experience, learning through trial and error, and self studying with books by masters of their crafts. I work primarily on a two-shaft loom commonly known as a rigid heddle loom creating wearables. I also do small tapestries inspired by the natural environment.

ARTIST STATEMENT

I have been fortunate to focus on what I enjoy the most; that is, creating and expressing myself and the environment around me in fiber. Instead of painting on canvas, I create images on tapestry, art quilts and wearables. The process nurtures my soul and feeds my senses.
