BIO
I graduated from Kansas State University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Architecture. I loved the creativity of school but realized the practice of architecture is mainly CAD drawings & meetings. I decided I needed to do something more creative with my mind & hands. I found Patty Conlin, a local goldsmith, and became her apprentice 12 years ago.
ARTIST STATEMENT
I’m an artist with an architecture degree who enjoys creating things with my hands: silver is my chosen medium. I love it’s permanence as an art form: the pieces I create can last a lifetime. I combine silver and natural gemstones to make wearable, one-of-a-kind art.
