Josh Winkler is a Minnesota artist working primarily with print media and is currently Associate Professor of Printmaking at Minnesota State University.

ARTIST STATEMENT

Direct experience and research feed the content and connections that are important to me as an artist. The environmental and cultural tragedies of the past must engage the high stakes of the present. I primarily utilize printmaking processes. I love the democratic nature of multiple impressions, and the rich history of commentary and dissemination.
